What facilities do you have?

We are a low impact camp site, we have a mains water supply, so we have toilet and shower facilities, with hot water, but Bay View Camping is currently off grid, so there is no power supply or electrical hook ups.

Are there toilets and showers?
​
Guests have use of male and female toilets with toilet roll provided and male and female showers with hot water. There is a washing up and drinking water station by the showers.

How secure is the site?
​
The Bay View is fully enclosed and has private access for guests only. Bay View Camping do not accept any responsibility for guests’ possessions during your stay.

Food and drink
​
Bring your own food and drink to curate your own Cornish culinary adventure by the sea! Remember, we don’t have electricity - so we recommend a long-lasting cool box for beer, wine, and perishables. Life’s a beach café and The Cove restaurant at Maenporth are a few minutes’ walk from the Bay View campsite, Life’s a beach are open from 9am - 4pm 7 days a week and offer a large menu with breakfast and meals during the day. There are also loads of awesome restaurants nearby in Falmouth, where booking is essential to guarantee a table.
Are Dogs Allowed?

We accept well behaved dogs (look out for our resident pooch Amber, a very friendly cavalier cross) and let us know if you are bringing yours. We suggest that if your dog is prone to barking a lot or perhaps is a little nervous with strangers, maybe this isn't the right place for them. There will be dog water bowls around site. We just ask that your four-legged friend is kept on a lead on while on site so that your neighbouring campers don’t have any unexpected visitors! Please remember to clean up after your dog, there is a bin on site for their mess. There are some great dog walks from the site along the coastal footpath or through the local country side.

What time is check in and out?
​
Check in is from 3pm – 7pm on day of arrival and check out is by 11am on day of departure.

Is there a washing up area and drinking water?
​
There is a washing up and drinking water station by the showers.
​
